I have just bought Black Ops for PC and i keep getting on and off lagg, my specs are over reccomended?

I know it is not my internet because i have tried on offline server with bots, and i think it maybe to do with my graphics card because the graphics in the game is also not great. I have put all the graphics down to minimum, could it possibly be my monitor? I am sure that my computer specs are over the recommended level. Thanks i really need some help.

I have booked my flight to New York for three weeks time from Australia where I have won a Diveristy Visa in the lottery and have noticed in the instructions to hand over my sealed envelope to customs on arrival. I have mistakenly already opened this envelope and am hoping I am still be able to p through customs on arrival. To get this envelope replaced involves flying to Sydney return for approx $500+ (the closest consulate office) and possibly paying for my American airfare again, given the processing/wait times at the consulate. Would I be able to get through with my opened envelope containing all my required doents?

my girlfriend openly admits that shes crazy/irrational/ and a 'hard pill to swallow'. 90% of the time it has to be about her. She hates her job but wont find another one, shes a great person who everyone likes and people even strangers are open with her and she is a magnetic person. But she is so hateful. She resents anyone talking to her or sharing their opinions or offering advice. Instead of dealing with it directly she just smiles and plays along and then when shes around me all she does is emotionally breakdown and rage about how sick and tired she is and how the worlds unfair (to her) and people need to leave her alone etc. This is nothing compared to how she reacts to her mother. LONG STORY SHORT.. her mom is a kept woman who divorced and remarried only because of money. my girlfriend has such internal problems with her mother she cant stand to be around her, and now that her mother and stepfather are helping her finacially in order for her to return to school. My girlfriend has meet with them occasionally to discuss finances and etc. WHERE I NEED ADVICE: like clockwork when she even thinks about her mom she gets anxious and angry and anything she says is a potent attack that destroys my girlfriend and she can barely speak. But ive been with her at her parents and the reality is her moms just like any other mom, she has an opinion. I feel bad that i cant keep the delusions my girlfriend has about the injustice she suffers. I try to understand and cant. i tell her its all okay and try to help soothe her (what she asks me to do) and then she erupts that i dont know what im talking about and how bad things keep happening to her and how i dont understand etc. Is it so bad that i feel shes being unfair, that shes selfish and ungrateful. she complains she doesnt have something,, then she gets it and she complains that she had to work for it or earn it or if it was given to her that she has to be thankful for it. Why cant i stop feeling like shes an immature brat and get upset because im supposed to be there for her whenever shes upset. SHE NEVER COMPLAINS TO THE PEOPLE SHE NEEDS TOO. i have to hear it all, she projects everything onto me and if i even show an ounce of (ohmygawd here we go again) she freaks out and acts like im somekind of abusive tyrannical jerk who never cared about her and how she can treats me so good by not belittling me or 'being mean' and then we go through the dance of me putting for all this energy to soothe her and promise that i'll put her feelings and thougghts and well being far above my own and how i will rake myself over hotcoals in the hopes she might have a moment of unsuffering joy. i only know whats in my head and heart. i want people to please give me a glimpse into the inner workings of the emotional wreckage in a selfish girls mind. I need real advice to help me understand and find the compion i need. please

Hi, i make a very decent living in IT which i have come to despise after 10 years. I can't stand technology and hate everything to do with computers. I hate my boss, i hate calgary, i hate the people here and their attitudes, i hate the cold alberta weather. I want to change careers but only like two things in life, one is travel second is driving my old rusty sports car. The money is too good in Calgary to just up and leave, plus my girlfriend has no desire to leave her comfort zone. I am in my early thirties and am completely miserable and can't stand getting up and going to work. I am not a spoiled person being from a hard working blue collar family. But i just know there is more to life than living in this culturally bland society with nothing but material aspirations. I feel like i don't belong here as i have nothing in common with my family or friends and their shiny new SUVs and oversized LCD TVs. How do i convince my teacher to let me come to cl late?

I am on crutches because of my ankle and i need to go to the science building for cl in the middle of the day. I really am not that fast on my crutches, so I really need some extra time. I have to go to something (an elective) which is in a DIFFERENT building too. I can't really carry many things at once (duh) so I just can't bring my science stuff to that elective.. No one in my elective is in my science cl, so i can't make them carry my stuff to that building the science building. That means i need to go on my crutches from one building to another to the science building. IF someone isn't there on time, she makes them walk to the main office and get a slip (the office is in yet another building and on the whole opposite side of the campus. I don't want to walk on crutches to four different building... I will end up getting there about 30 minutes into cl! I emailed her asking if i could come in late, but she vetoed that idea... Our vegetables come from plants that grow from the soil which we stand on. All these things in life have always been free until people started putting a price tag on them. There are geniuses out there who know the formula to create medications to help the sick. Yeah, I kind of agree with what he says. I believe that real love means everything to you. It makes you do everything for that special someone. You can only know what it really is when you fall in love but sometimes, even if we are honest or being ourselves, we cannot really get what we want. And we end up hating because we didn't get what we think we deserved. But the real and only truth is, we should have done everything we could in the first place with what we have so that we wouldn't end up blaming or hating others for not having a fulfilled love relationship. Relationship Trouble :(?

Well my girlfriend and i are getting ready to move out. Im graduateing and her parents are moving to Fla. She doesnt want to go, so we'll be staying with my parents over the summer until we get an apartment, because she has another year of school left. (Added info- we've already been together a year..) Things have ben really stressful becaue we are a couple and we've been hiding it from some family and all friends, so its hard to go day to day and pretend to be just friends. Well now her parents are moving in a week, we havent found an apartment, its hard to hide our secret and we never get to be "normal" around her family because she has younger siblings who dont know about us. (Both of our parent know) So we are under some major stress right now... the "fire" isnt as strong as it used to be, we're snappy with each other and are short patiented. We get into a lot of little arguments and we feel exhausted from everyhting at the end of the day. How can i be the one to make things better for the both of us? We love each other so much, yet we're kinda tearing each other down. I just need some stress relievers until we can get things figured out.

Breathing problem, maybe asthma?

I'm 13 and fairly active. But lately I find if I overexert myself too much I can't breathe. It feels like I'm breathing through a straw and no matter how big a breath I take, it only goes a tiny bit down into my lungs. And I have no breath to exhale. It happened recently from a pretty easy exercise and I could hardly breathe for almost 10 minutes. Yet I can run 4 miles no sweat. My mom has asthma pretty bad, but I never thought I had it. Well I got my 19 month old off bottles last week at bedtime. It has been huge difference for us, he actually sleeps through the night now. But, he is putting up a huge resistance at bedtime, before he would go to sleep with his bottle, and that would be it. Now, he is crying very much so. Sometimes up to an hour. My husband and I are buying a 50 or so year old house. It doesn't have regular siding but the shingle siding. When turned on it makes a terrible, fast clunking sound. The drum is rotating, the belts look like they are moving, but there is a very strong burning smell and that loud banging sound (like a sped up sound of shoes in the dryer, all the time). How do you get rid of calcium build up in the water of a Travel trailer used only 4 to 5 times a year?

We love to go to the desert dirt-biking during the winter. But we seem to have a recurrent problem of calcium building up in trailer water lines causing headaches more often than not. It clogs up the toilet inlet and even the cold water spout. Our friends told us to use a filter which we have been using for more than a year but continue to have the problem. Please note we were unable to get any of the cold spouts to work at all this weekend but the hot water worked fine. My NYC apt is freeeezing. How soon should the landlord fix it before I break my lease?

This past August, I moved into a rent stabilized, ground floor apartment in NYC. Since the heat has come on, it has been a steady 68 degrees, which I am not thrilled about (I like 75-80) but that is the legal minimum. Now that the temps have dropped, my apartment is not a steady 58 degrees and I am DYING. When the temps drop further, I expect the indoor temp to also drop. The landlord has been responsive but the temps aren't changing. The radiator doesn't seem to stay on long enough to increase the temp, only hold it to 58. I have friends upstairs who have toasty apartments. I want to cry. i don't know what to do. How can I deal with this? If it doesn't get fixed, how soon can I break my lease? I can't spend a winter under a blanket wearing gloves, hat and a scarf. :(

Weird Stripper Love Triangle?

Okay, its really not that "out there" but I am in need of an objective opinion. This could get confusing but about a week and a half ago I was eating late night with 2 work friends at Denny's. Another table of 2 females and 2 males came in and were visibly intoxicated. I was facing one of the couples of which the male looked familiar. Every time I looked in their direction the male was staring at me and the girl was cutting me some nasty looks. I overheard her saying something to the effect of "awkward situation". She went outside and her friend followed her. When my friends and I walked outside to leave, she was sitting on the curb having a meltdown. Last Saturday I attended the pre grand opening party for employees of a new upscale club in my city I will be working at and the same group of people were there as well. Again, the male was staring and the girl was cutting me the dirty looks again. Now I am generally over paranoid about things like this but I almost always leave it alone but my friend noticed it too and she is NOT the paranoid type at all. I was racking my brain trying to figure out who these people were and why they would have a problem with me. The following day (sunday) I finally realized the male looked familiar from visiting a friend of mine from time to time at my previous club (which I was fired from when they found out I was leaving for a better club) but that didn't answer my question about why they would have a problem with me. The next day (yesterday) I called my friend whom he had visited to ask who he was and she told me about how they were friends and he was a great guy. When I asked about the "girlfriend" she expressed in some choice words her dislike for the girl and explained her psychotic episodes and the fact that they were not actually seeing each other, just "talking" and that she was obsessed with him. She also told me about the girl she was with that night who happened to be a dancer at the club I am currently working at until the new club opens in a couple weeks and the one I had mistaken for his "girlfriend" also worked there as a waitress. She didn't know any reason they would be angry with me but I at least knew who they were and thats all I really wanted to know. My friend (to my surprise) called me back 30 minutes later saying she called him (they're pretty good friends) and told him what I called her about and to question why he was still hanging out with her. He knew exactly who I was from the party and told her he thought I was gorgeous. He also told her that he couldn't take the crazy any more and he was going to let her know that they shouldn't be hanging out because she was misinterpreting the situation and acting like a jealous gf, and he did exactly that. My friend suggested we all meet up so I could see that he was a really great guy and gave him my number. We've been talking since then and seem to get along famously (so far, right? haha) and I admit, I am a bit taken with him (can't lie, he is gorgeous and a very nice guy with references) and I am shocked by the chain of events also. He told his friend that he and I were talking and he was attracted to me. Tonight at work things were very strange and I have reason to believe his friend leaked some info. Now here's my concern, I have not spoken to either one of these girls in the very short time I've worked there but I do know they can't be described as "stable" or "level headed". I intend to mind my own business but I am unsure how to handle the situation should a confrontation happen. Also, I am attracted to him and he does seem genuine. I would like to see where things could possibly go. I don't feel like there was any wrong doing to this girl by either of us considering they were not a couple and I had no intention of talking to him when I called for info. Also, keep in mind both of these girls will likely be working with me at the new club, I ume after seeing them at the employee party. I need some advice on how to handle these 2 hostile girls if I am approached, short term and long. Okay well I'm going to start working at the end of the month. I alreadly have 150 bucks in a savings. But after I start working I want to put most of my money in my savings account to save up for a used car that I could buy next summer after my 11th grade year.So probably 80% of the money I am savings up will go towards buying a used car, cause my parents won't pay for a car for me. Help, I'm so depressed...friends/family/boy… everything sucks!?

So many people go through this and so many people dont realize it. Yes you are obviously depressed because you cant be alone. I had a friend who is going through this same thing and I've been there myself. For one, you need to be alone, you need to learn how to conquer that feeling, face your fears in essence, and think about whats wrong in your life and how to fix, it wont be easy, but start with the smaller things that you can resolve and once you start resolving those smaller things it'll start getting you in a place where you can handle the bigger things. These things as you may already know are not easy, and I know that, I've made it out of that hole though and so can you. But you need to learn how to be alone, because everyone is alone now or later, its inevitable, but re-kindle an old hobby or find a new one, find something that keeps you busy and happy. Trust me, its somethign you need to do to make it through. As for as finding good friends or that special someone, my take on that is, you dont find them, they find you, if you go out looking for it and dont find it, its puts you in a bad place, but if you dont expect to find anything and it comes, its a better feeling than if you went looking for it and found it. But keep your head up and dont listen to what other people have to say if its negative, I was in the same position then I decided Im not gonna let people like that dictate my life, and I only started to care about what I thought about myself and not others. Like I said it wont be easy and a change wont come over night, but if you take one day at a time, Im sure youll get through it even though right now you feel like theres nothing anyone, or even yourself, can do to make it go away, thats why you need to worry about and not everyone else and what they say or do. Opinions on 1911's?

I'm considering many guns for concealed carry and all ways had the 1911 in the back of my mind but never really considered it until now. The only drawback is the mag cpacity of only 7 or 8 rounds. Sore/swollen throat now feels a little congested in the chest?

I awoke on Friday and discovered what felt like a lump in my throat. Determined my Lymphnodes were swollen so my body must be fighting off an infection or something. I have had this for 4 days now and the throat swelling seems to be turning into a bronchial congestion of some sort. I am not coughing up blood, green or discolored phlegm or anything, just aches and seems to have me somewhat tired. I've spent most of my time fighting stereotypes, but just a week ago an incident occurred that has caused me to rethink my stance on the correlation between race and criminal mindedness. A family friend of mine that is in his 60s has lived in Michigan for about 35 years or so. He immigrated there from India, and has been a taxi driver. Last week at around 2am, he was in the suburbs of Michigan when a group of 4-5 Black youngsters (possibly in their 20s) requested a ride and took him to a desolate area. After arriving there, they beat him up and left him to die. He tried calling the police, but apparently they said they could not enter that specific area for whatever reason. And so he got up and reached the highway where a good samaritan gave him a ride to the hospital, and he is currently in Intensive Care Unit. The police have said it is probably a hate crime since he is Muslim and South Asian. I honestly don't mean to sound ignorant, but this behavior is so shameful. He's in his 60s for crying out loud, and a group of youngsters beat him up.

First i think that Patrick Willis and D.J. Williams are two good picks for linebackers. They get alot of tackles and a few sacks. But i think Elvis Dumervil out of Denver is a great pick. He had 12.5 sacks last year and should get even more this year. He also forced 4 fumbles, and had 39 tackles. He is a great d line pick. Also a secondary pick is Champ Bailey. He had an off year and still had 3 picks, 17 pes defended, and 84 tackles (71 solo) . He would have had about 150 points on that method of scoring. He should do even better this year and be back up to the top shelf of all defensive players.

Hello? You people honestly think Durant would be the same player he is today if he was in Portland? The Thunder suck, he's the main scorer over there, that's why he's averaging 25 PPG. If he was in Portland, he would have to share the ball with all of the talented players the Blazers have, and he would not be averaging 25 PPG. Durant wouldn't be a good fit for Portland, I don't know why everybody says Portland should have drafted him. The only reason why Durant might be shining today, is because he plays on a crappy team where he's basically the focus. Put him on a good team like the Blazers though, and he won't be the focus all the time. Will this minigreenhouse let me start tomatoes early?

At our house, we used one of the cheapy plastic greenhouses that you can buy at wal-Mart or K-Mart. It worked just great. No problem and it worked as well as my gl greenhouse. The only concern is that there is enough room to put a small heater in the greenhouse. If temperatures are going to plummet, you need a small heater that will not sit against the plastic and will not overheat the plastic. We have a small heater and could put it right in the middle of the plastic house on the ground. So go ahead and try it. We did have to use the heater because we are in Northern Michigan. If you are only starting tomatoes, size will not be a problem. My tomato plants are only about 8 inches high when they go into the ground. If you are trying to grow full blown large plants, this will not do. For a starter it is fine. Allow enough space between plants so that they are not crowding each other. Leave enough space for the tomatoes toget 8 to 10 inches high.

Manto is a great brand any of their tripods and heads will be fine. If you plan on travelling a lot with it you should look at a carbon fiber model as they are significantly lighter than aluminium models. Once you decide between alumium and carbon fiber then choose by the weight that the tripod and head can support. I would choose one that can support the heaviest lens you either own or is on your wish list. You can put a small camera and lens on a heavy duty tripod but not the other way around. So consider this.

I have weird sleeping tendencies, are these normal? or happen a lot?

Ok all of this is going to sound weird, but I need to know if I am sub consciously trying to kill myself lol!!! When I sleep sometimes (about every week to two weeks) I smother myself when I sleep. My mind quickly picks up on that so I am aware that I can't breathe so obviously my brain tells my body to move, but it doesn't. I just can't seem to move at all, and I panic and I freak out and I feel like I am screaming but I am not and then right when I feel like I am going to die my body wakes up and moves!!!! Another weird thing is sometimes I will lay down and relax and I am very comfortable like I am beeing hypnotized (which btw is the ultimate relaxation lol) so I am awake and aware and then my body just goes numb and I can open my eyes but I can't move my body or speak. It is very freaky, like when I wake up I am so scared, I am paranoid I am being possesed lmao, which I knwo isn't true but still scary non-the less. So I was just wondering if this is normal? If this happens to a lot of people? I asked my doctor and she said she had no clue what I was talking about and had never heard of this happening!!
