How Do I Make Simple Meat?

I've Never Made Meat Before, And I Just Want To Simply Round The Meat And Bake It Like All The Recipies I've Read Say... Can I Do This And Get The Same Round Effect Without Adding Bread Crumbs And Onions To It??? Can You Suggest Other Simple Things I Can Do To Get A Good Meatball? Thanks.
