Need some career advice please?

Hi, i make a very decent living in IT which i have come to despise after 10 years. I can't stand technology and hate everything to do with computers. I hate my boss, i hate calgary, i hate the people here and their attitudes, i hate the cold alberta weather. I want to change careers but only like two things in life, one is travel second is driving my old rusty sports car. The money is too good in Calgary to just up and leave, plus my girlfriend has no desire to leave her comfort zone. I am in my early thirties and am completely miserable and can't stand getting up and going to work. I am not a spoiled person being from a hard working blue collar family. But i just know there is more to life than living in this culturally bland society with nothing but material aspirations. I feel like i don't belong here as i have nothing in common with my family or friends and their shiny new SUVs and oversized LCD TVs. Plus the only thing that appeals to me is working in a tropical country doing anything but IT. In a rut, please help.
