Firefox looking up everything in encyclopedias?

You see, whenever I browse my internet on firefox, and I try to click on a link, it either opens up a new tab and goes to the link (even if it's not supposed to open a new tab) or it looks up the word that the link had on some encyclopedia website. Is this a virus? How can I fix this?
