Suggested wood/hybrid for an improving golfer? I only have a driver and irons, no woods.?

I would get a 3 hybrid. It's versatile being that you can hit it off the tee and the fairway. I find it easier to hit than 3 wood as of late. Maybe it's just me, but I can count on one hand how many times I've hit 3 wood this year(3). It's definitely easier to hit than 3 iron.
