Can a 2 week old newborn be spoiled already?

I had twin boys 2 weeks ago tomorrow. I cannot seem to get them to sleep unless they are laying with either me or my husband. If I try and lay them down with eachother or alone they scream and cry. Even during the day when they are taking a nap they want to be held while they sleep. If I don't hold them they cry and wont go to sleep. These boys even want to be held whn awake. Sometimes i'll hold them until they fall asleep and then after they fall asleep ill try and put them down. As soon as i put them down they cry again. Is it possible for a 2 week old baby to be spoiled already? Does anyone have any advice on what I can do?
