Will I lose my funding for school?

Currently Im in school attending school online, Im on the Dean list at my college. I thought all my student loans were consolidated but I recently recieve a summon saying Sallie Mae suing for a private loan that started out at 2500 now its worth 1787 I call them to try to negiotate then they stated they wanted 12000. Then is when I decided I had to go to court. I'm currently unemployed on food stamps recieve SSI for my children. I only decided to go to school so I can give my kids a better life. I'm making good grade honor roll. I'm studing criminal justice best decision of my life. Here is the situation I hope gave enough details.
