What does this say to you?

ok so tonight i went to watch a play at my ex's high school and my ex is in the band at the play so then when i went to say hi to his best friend, my ex was right next to him and his best friend was like "ehh ehh ehh" to me which is like saying "ooo it's your boyfriend" (or something like that) and then he said he was just kidding and so when i hugged my ex, his best friend was like "aww". according to my brother, he thinks my ex still likes me. is it true?
