Experienced people only. Can I hide family heirlooms from creditors after a judgment against me next week?
If these collections and repo men are behaving badly, then you have to do what you must to protect yourself from them. That would include hiding any belongings you don't want them to take. If you have a hearing next week, I would go and explain to the judge that you have money to pay nearly 1/3 of the bill, and you are disabled, but the credit card company wouldn't accept your payment. I don't know why they wouldn't accept $100 a month, and I don't think it's going to make them look very good. Hold your head up.
